YEAR 3

Recently Sirius College held parent teacher interviews and your presence showed your child that you are interested in their learning. It was also a time for you, the parent, to learn about the academic growth of your child and how best you can assist them at home.

Please contact the school if you are yet to see your child’s teacher (s).

From these meetings we encourage parents to follow through on suggestions made that will benefit your child’s learning.

Some key ideas are:

Your child’s educational future is too important to be left to chance.

Past experiences have taught us teachers that your support and guidance in their learning is a must!

Grade 3’s had their first Interschool Athletic Sports Day in the first week of this term and they have achieved some excellent results. They competed against similar aged students from many local primary schools.

Mohamad Chkhaydem scored A for Hurdles, Shot Put and Sprints.
Humza Rafiee scored A for Shot Put and Sprints.
Zainab Syeda, Ruaa Saadi and Awwaab Shaikh scored A for Sprints.

On Friday 18th October, we had our own school Athletics Sports Day. Again the children performed so well and there were some excellent personal best results. It was a pleasure to see the students encouraging others and cheering them on.

It was a great day and Red were the winners. See Sirius College Athletics Day main file for photos.
